The Museum of the Canals receives no structural subsidies. We are a foundation with ANBI status and are financially dependent on ticket sales, donations, partners, and sponsors. Together, we ensure that the extraordinary story behind the Amsterdam canals and the city center can be shared with new generations.
Additionally, we are committed to various meaningful social causes through GrachtenmuseumExtra.

Will you become a partner or sponsor?
As a partner or sponsor, you can join us at various levels – depending on what suits your company. Would you like to make a financial contribution to making the museum more accessible and wheelchair-friendly, or, for example, support keeping the canals clean? You can! Additionally, you can also enable activities for children from low-income families with a financial contribution.
We would love to get in touch with you to discover together how we can strengthen each other – and to tell you about everything the museum has to offer. For example, as a partner or sponsor, you can organize an annual event with us for your business relations. Furthermore, you will receive free guest tickets, enjoy tax benefits, and support one or more of our social initiatives. We offer partnerships starting from 2,500 euros per year. If you are looking for more or something tailor-made, a sponsorship agreement might be for you. We would be happy to get in touch to discuss the possibilities.
