We offer attractive conditions for tour operators, resellers, shipping companies, and DMCs. The museum is well-suited for both group and individual visits. We have our own private jetty, meaning we are also accessible by (canal) boat. Furthermore, the museum is wheelchair accessible and the free audio guide is available in 9 languages. Read more below.
The Grachtenmuseum is located in the heart of Amsterdam at Herengracht 386, within walking distance of Dam Square and the Museumplein, for example. The museum tells the story of the history of Amsterdam and its canals. Visitors can experience a permanent multimedia exhibition, changing art exhibitions, a 17th-century canal house with period rooms, a showpiece room with 18th-century wall paintings, and a stunning ceiling painting. Ideal for all ages wishing to discover the city and learn about its history first.
The museum has only been open for 10 years and can truly be called a hidden gem. This makes it ideal for those who wish to go off the beaten track and see something unique, while remaining in the center of Amsterdam. The visiting time is approximately 1 hour.

For Tour Operators, we offer a discount on the entrance fee for group bookings. Reserving a group visit is quite simple:
Send an e-mail to
mail@grachten.museumwith the date, time, group size, and your company details, and we will add the visit to our schedule.
Should there be any changes to the time or group size, please let us know before the date of the visit.
Our permanent exhibition operates with 10-minute time slots for every 12 visitors. If the group is larger than this, we will divide the group. Consequently, visitors may have to wait 10, 20 minutes, or more in our museum if the group is large.
Following the group's visit, you will receive an invoice from us, or they may pay at the ticket desk.
If you are interested in seeing what we can offer your guests, please contact us via mail@grachten.museum.
