Museumnacht: Book club
november 7, 2026📆 Date: November 7, 2026
đź•“ Time: 7:00 PM – 12:00 AM
đź“ŤLocation: Grachtenmuseum, Herengracht 386
Join our Book Club during this museum night and discover how literature can serve as a starting point for conversations that go beyond the pages of a book. The Book Club takes place in the period rooms of the museum, alongside the solo exhibition of artist Kaili Smith. In his new series of portraits, created especially for this exhibition, he has depicted three creative duos, including Kriticos and Stacey, the organizers of this activity..
This Book Club is particularly special because you don’t need to have read the book! Between 7:00 PM and 12:00 AM, the Grachtenmuseum becomes a meeting place for curious people who want to share knowledge, meet new people, and engage in meaningful conversation. Join one of the tables and participate in discussions on themes such as:
- Money, capitalism & ‘Tikkie culture’
- people, migration & dating
- Memory, nostalgia & heritage
English will be the primary language spoken during this event.
