5 October - 11 October 2026From Monday 5 October to Sunday 11 October 2026, it is the Week of Accessibility. As a wheelchair-accessible museum, we are happy to take part in this initiative and offer free admission to wheelchair users and their companions throughout the week.

Activity: Free admission for wheelchair users (and their companions)

Admission: When you arrive at the museum entrance, please call 020 421 16 56. One of our colleagues will help you enter the museum using our platform lift. After that, you can visit all rooms and floors of the museum. No registration is required.
During your visit, discover the history of Amsterdam and the canal district in our 17th-century canal house. The entire museum is wheelchair accessible, and we offer various facilities to make every museum visit as comfortable as possible.
Feedback
Although our museum is wheelchair accessible, there is always room for improvement. We would therefore like to hear from our visitors about what we can improve further. At the end of the visit, we ask participants to share their feedback.
