You will find our museum in a 17th-century canal house at Herengracht 386 in Amsterdam.
From Amsterdam Central Station, you can take metro 52 and get off at the Rokin stop. From here, it is a 7-minute walk to the museum.
From Amsterdam Central Station, you can take tram 2, 17, and 24 and get off at the Koningsplein stop. From here, it is a 4-minute walk to the museum.

Walking from Amsterdam Central Station to the Grachtenmuseum is a pleasant 23-minute walk (approx. 1.7 km). There are several possible routes, either through the lively Kalverstraat or along the historic canals. Plan your route using your preferred navigation app or website.
Because the museum is located on the Herengracht in the center, parking options around the museum are limited. The nearest parking garages are Parkeergarage Keizersgracht and Parkeergarage Kalverstraat.
If you have the opportunity, please come to the museum by public transport, on foot, or by bicycle.

The city center of Amsterdam can sometimes be difficult to access for people with mobility issues and/or those who use a wheelchair. There is one disabled parking space directly opposite the entrance to the museum. The museum itself is wheelchair accessible and equipped with an elevator.
