Amsterdam is Crumbling explores the role of residents, the development of nature during the restorations, the delicate balance between safety and beauty, and the dilemmas that arise from these considerations. How do we keep the canals beautiful, authentic, liveable, and safe while taking into account the limitations imposed by the World Heritage status?  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Audio tour<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The audio tour tells the stories of experts, residents, and municipal staff who shed light on the complexity and magnitude of the issues. Kilometers of quay walls are being reinforced or replaced. What impact does it all have on Amsterdam?  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Julie Hrudov\u00e1<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In her photo series, Hrudov\u00e1 managed to capture both the local challenges and the unexpected beauty in a vibrant documentary style, sometimes resulting in surprisingly poetic images.
